A buddy of mine, a few weeks ago, raced an 03 procharged Mustang on the highway, 50-160. He lost by about 6 car lengths. The guy ways talking so much crap about the z, saying that they're garbage and he should sell it and buy a Supra, maybe then the race would be closer. When I heard about this I got really pissed of and said I wanted to run him. We arranged a race. I got home from work last night and put on my M/T street slicks and 5 gallons of C 16 and was off to the race. We meet at Taco bell on sunrise, by Sactotodds house, and talked for about 45 minutes. At 1 am we were off heading toward highway 50. We slowed all the cars behind us to 50 MPH and clear the road in front of us, not a car in front of us for 2 miles. I went ahead a mile to do a burn out. It was time for the race, 1 honk, 2 honks, 3 honks and we were off, I brake boosted to 18 psi. It was dead even at the top of 2nd and when I hit 3rd I pulled 3 cars on him, and at the top of 4th it was 6 cars, at 160 mph I couldn't count them anymore. We got out at the next exit and he said his belt was slipping and he was only making 21 psi of boost as apposed to 26 psi. He said he wanted a rematch in a few weeks, but I said It’s not worth it he will lose anyway; buy a Z06 and then maybe the race will be closer:) I could see it in his eyes, he was so pissed.
